"You're a Genius" Workshop
"You're a Genius" workshop with a Microsoft global team at Galvanize in Seattle.
Why Team Confidence Matters
It takes a village to build... anything. Every group, every company, every experience needs an atmosphere where people can work together.
The games and lessons in my "You're a Genius" series keep the group speaking up, listening, and creating together, as a team. Plus, it's fun.

What We Explore
~ Creative Thinking ~
A team where every person believes in their and other's creative abilities is a team that moves projects forward - easily. This team is efficient, trusts each other, and tries-and-learns easily.
~ Communication ~
How do you talk to people so they actually enjoy the experience and would like to talk to you again? Clients, direct reports, colleagues, spouses - improv has so much to teach about how to listen to and share fresh ideas.
~ Presentation Skills ~
Thinking on your feet is your birthright. You're made for it. How do you pull it off in front of a crowd? Again, improv has so much to teach us, and it's fun.
~ Empathy ~
Listening, really listening, moves mountains and unites groups of people. In improv, concepts like "accept offers" and "don't block" form the basis of empathetic exchanges among teams.
~ People Management ~
I've managed many teams and the process always requires a bit of improvisation, and a whole lot of listening, respect, and bringing out people's best. Improv can teach so much on leadership. Plus, you guessed it, it's fun.
